For additional information and training on equality and diversity there is an online educational course on LGB issues in Primary Care on the RCPG website which will provide an introduction to the issues relating to lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) patients. The estimated time to complete this is one hour.  The first module covers definitions, attitudes, epidemiology, and current inequalities.  It also provides an introduction to the specific helaht issues relating to LGB people and discusses the ways a practice can become more accessible to LGB patients.  The second module looks at different sub-groups within the LGB population and covers more detail on HIV and other STIs, drug use and fertility.  The modules carry CPD points.
